May with the Mac-Taks

So only one month and already I'm posting again! May is a pretty special month though and worth of it's own post in the Mac-Tak world. The twins turned TWO! I can't believe I have two two year-olds. Crazy. We kept the birthday celebrations pretty low-key this year. Presents on their actual day and a family we are friends with over for breakfast on the weekend.

Laurel gave us quite a scare this past weekend. On Friday morning she slipped on the bathroom floor and hit her head and lost consciousness. It was the scariest moment I've ever had. I picked her up and watched face turn blue and then she passed out. She was only out for a moment and then rushed up to the Queen Mary hospital. This is the public hospital just up the hill. The hospital is quite a scene in itself and one day when I'm fully recovered I'll write about it. She seems fine now and what we have discovered through this misadventure is that Laurel has truly remarkable liver enzymes. We always knew there was something special about her... She had two different types of sedative and had enough to make a grown-man black out. With Laurel though... No effect. The Drs thought she was amazing and excitedly told me that she will be a "fantastic drinker"! Perfect! Just what you want to hear about your two year-old daughter!

Anyway, as usual I'll turn this over to the photos.
